Abstract

1512694 Coating by extrusion LOCTITE CORP 20 June 1975 [20 June 1974] 26303/75 Heading B2L [Also in Divisions B6 and F1] A device for applying a viscous material to a stencil 12 and for wiping the surface clear of the material as the device is moved over it, comprises a container 2 for the material on which is slidably mounted a sleeve I carrying on an adjustable rod 3 a piston 5 for engaging the seal 6 to discharge the material. The other end of the container has a sealing ring 7, with one or more outlet apertures D1, on which is slidably mounted an applicator head 8 having a seal 11 engagable by a shoulder 18 on the seal 7. In a second embodiment the sealing ring and applicator are integral.
