1509359 Lifting stumps and snags found in a bog SUOKONE OY 16 Sept 1976 [19 Sept 1975] 38460/76 Heading A1B A machine for lifting stumps and snags found in a bog and leaving the debris therefrom in a row at the side of the path cleared by the machine comprises a spiked transverse lifting drum 8 and a transverse screw conveyor 9 hydraulically driven through gearboxes 11 and mounted on a sub-frame 10 pivotally mounted on a towable frame 2. The relative arrangement of the lifting drum 8, screw 9 and a supporting wheel 6 is controlled by hydraulic cylinders 3, 5 from operative to transport positions.
