Lighting, systems of.-In apparatus for illuminating operation tables, draughtmen's tables, metal chaser's and engraver's benches, &c., a light source a is arranged at the focus of an annular condenser b, and the zone' of light produced is reflected on to the table d &c. The reflecting- means may consist of a conical mirror c, several flat mirrors, or an annular mirror whose curvature in places containing the axis of revolution can be varied. The condenser b can be completed by a mirror g or by an optical device capable of transforming most of the light into the luminous beam. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the curvature of the annular reflector can be varied in planes at rightangles to the axis of revolution and that the condenser may be replaced by a mirror or other optical device. This subject-matter does not appear in.the Specification as accepted.
