Abstract

1507098 Garment S TIRUCHELVAM 15 May @ 20569/75 Heading A3V A multipurpose garment comprises a length of material 1 folded in half along its transverse centre line 2, and seaming the edges at 3 from the curved edge 5A, 5B remote from the fold to one end of an arm opening 4. Various methods of wearing the garment are described. In one (Figs. 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B. not shown) only the arms are placed through the opening 4, the garment being worn slung around the neck. In others, Figs. (6-8 not shown) the head is passed through the opening and the garment worn as a cape: if flimsy material is employed the garment may, in this position, be twisted to form a scarf. The edges 5A, 5B. 6, 7 may be plain or scalloped, given a roll edge or trimmed with fur, braid or edging. Edges 6, 7, may be provided with fasteners or a belt may be employed with the garment.
