Abstract

1451101 Shoulder strap COURTAULDS Ltd 18 Feb 1974 [19 Feb 1973] 7979/73 Heading A3V A vest has shoulder straps and trimmings e.g. of lace, the strap material being split for part of its length so that the undivided portion forms the shoulder strap 12 and one half of the split, portion trims the front edge of the neck opening 7, and the other half trims the underarm edge 15. A second length of material is used for the other arm and rear edge 8 of the neck opening. In a modification a single length of strap bifurcated as shown in Figure 3 is used, portions 23, 24 forming the shoulder straps, 35 the front edge of the neck opening, 28 and 30 the rear edge of the neck opening, 36 and 29 the underarm triming of one arm, and 31 and 37 the underarm trimming of the other arm. In another modification four pieces of material are used, each being half the length of the piece of material in Fig. 1: joins are formed half way along the front and rear edges, the straps, and the underarm edges.
