1505307 Supporting shelves or cabinets MERRICK DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT Ltd 5 Oct 1976 [9 Oct 1975] 41464/75 Heading A4B A shelf 18, cabinet or like storage unit is provided in its underface with sockets 17 which each receive one head 12' of a pin 11 with a head at each end to support the shelf or unit between side panels 1, each side panel 1 being located between a pair of pillars 2 and secured thereto by the pins 11 which are each passed through a hole 6 in a side panel 1 and through a hole 6 or slot in the pillar 2 whereafter the pin 11 is moved to a position in which the opposite head 12 is disposed eccentrically to the hole 6 or slot. Subsequent fitment of top and bottom caps 19 prevents inadvertent displacement of the panels 1 relative to the pillars 2.
