Abstract

1362130 Cabinets; shelving TADA PLA CO Ltd 10 Nov 1972 [3 March 1972 8 April 1972] 52145/72 Heading A4B An extensible cabinet or shelving assembly includes a basic unit comprising a rectangular base 3 and a pair of side walls 2, 2a, the base 3 having at each corner an upwardly extending column 25 which locates in a corresponding hollow lower corner of an associated side wall 2, 2a, the latter having at their upper corners extensions 13 and the base 3 having on the underside of its corners downwardly open recesses 44 which can receive the extensions 13 on side walls 2, 2a of a similar lower unit, the extensions 13 and recesses 44 being provided with abutments 24 and holes 28 which resiliently inter-lock with a snap action. A top wall 5 receives the extensions 13 and have slots 34 into which the abutments 24 snap engage. Up and over doors 6 may be fitted on two opposite sides. Units may be joined side by side using a common partition wall.
