Abstract
1504623 Galvanizing tubes &c A J RAYMOND 28 April 1975 17634/75 Heading C7F A member 8 (tube) is coated with e.g. Zn or Zn-Al by passing it through guides 15, 16 and between a member 10, which may be a tube or plate and a reservoir 3 for the molten metal. Excess metal is pumped back from the kettle, to the reservoir. The tube may be pre-heated by induction at 11. Galvanizing may take place in an inert atmosphere, and excess metal is removed by air knife 14. Various forms of the member 10 are shown.
