1503277 Rack frameworks VERO ELECTRONICS Ltd 22 June 1976 [28 June 1975] 25925/76 Heading H1R In a circuit board mounting rack, which supports boards 3 between opposed guides 16 for connections with rear edge connectors 1, the edge connectors 1 are mounted on a bus-bar rail 9 which is either integral with or connected to a frame rail 15, 14 the rail 9 having a bus-bar 11 with projecting contact pins 12 aligned with pins 2 on the edge connectors 1. As shown, the rail 9 has insulation in a recess 10 to accommodate a three-section bus-bar 11A, the top and bottom of the Figure showing alternative arrangements. Two bus-bar rails may, however, be provided. The pin alignment allows wirewrapped connections to be made by automated machines.
