Abstract

1503084 Drip watering apparatus V D HANSEN 17 June 1976 [17 June 1975] 25222/76 Heading AID [Also in Division F2] Water from a supply duct 3 passes through resistance ducts R1 - R5 and valves V1 - V5 to collecting ducts 5, 6. The duct 5 discharges into a cloudy weather duct 7 and a fertilizer duct 8, both of which contain a resistance duct R6, R7 and discharge into a collecting tank 16, the duct 8 also containing a fertilizer tank 13 to ensure the required amount of fertilizer is fed into the tank 16. The duct 6 also discharges into the tank via a sunny weather duct 9 but the flow therein is controlled by a solar valve VS which is responsive to heat radiation and/or light and/or ambient temperature so that there is more flow into the tank 16 when it is "sunny" than when it is "cloudy". The mixed liquid 17 in the tank 16 is supplied to a drip watering plant.
