Abstract

1502900 Offshore loading terminal DAVID BROWN-VOSPER (OFFSHORE) Ltd 17 Sept 1976 [18 Sept 1975] 38327/75 Heading B7V An offshore loading terminal comprises an anchored support 4 (Fig. 1) supporting a steel mooring frame 3 which carries a turntable 6 carrying a structure 7 to which is secured a buoy 8 by means of a universal coupling 9; two pairs of hose lines 1 and 17 being connected by a pipe swivel 10 comprising pipes 11, 16 (Fig. 3) Y-shaped pipe units 12, 13 and a swivel 14. The buoy may be cylindrical, stiffened by rings and be subdivided into individually sealed compartments. Fenders 18, a navigational marker at the end of a pole 20 and a mooring assembly 19 may also be provided.
