Abstract

1422416 Floating storage tanks SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ BV 1 March 1973 9932/73 Headings B7A and B7S A floating storage unit 4 of the displacement type comprises a liquid storage vessel 5 and a riser conduit 42 which is axially displaceable along a riser guide track 65 extending axially through the storage unit. A hose 40 is secured to the lower end of the riser conduit and hose connector 67 secured to the hose is displaceable along hose connector guide track 66 also extending axially through the storage unit. Two riser conduits 42, 43 are shown in the embodiment of Fig. 1.
