[Also in Division E1 _ A single buoy mooring comprises a buoy 1 anchored to the sea bed and having a part 3 rotatable about a vertical axis carrying a mooring device (e.g. bollards) and a fluid conduit 6 connected at one end by a coupling 7 to a conduit 5 on the buoy 1, and at the other end by a coupling 9 and an elbow 10 to a flexible floating conduit 13, having parts 14, 15 next to the elbow floating submerged, and the rest 16 ... 18 on the surface, the couplings 7 and 9 each allowing relative rotation about a vertical axis. The conduits 6 may incorporate valves 8 and there may be two parallel fluid lines 6, 8, 9, 10, 13 from the coupling 7. The conduit 13 may comprise floats 20 of foamed plastics.
