Abstract

1500040 Gauge mountings JAMES NEILL HOLDINGS Ltd 1 July 1976 [8 July 1975] 28708/75 Heading G1M An adjustable mounting for a gauge 2, Fig. 1, comprises an "on" "off" magnetic base 3 supporting a pillar 4 and a slidable clamp 21 containing a rotatable extension 22 adapted to clamp around a stem 5, Fig. 3. The parts 21 and 22 are operated by a wheel 24 and screw 25 which presses 4 and 5 against members 26, 27. The end 6 is pivoted for fine adjustment about a pin 8 by rotating a sleeve 14 having an angled end-face 19, the face being arranged to abut part of the end 6 or a cross bearing member 18 for this purpose. In a modification the face 19 may be plane and engage an angled end to the member 6.
