Abstract

1391460 Shafts ROLPASARL 8 March 1972 [12 March 1971] 10679/72 Heading F2U A body 21 having a bore (e.g. a roll of paper), is mounted on a shaft 1 by clamping apparatus which allows the shaft and bore axes to be tilted relative to one another before the clamp is tightened. The reel 21 may be tiltably positioned by a surface thereof engaging a surface normal to the shaft. As shown, a bore of a tube 5 includes a part spherical surface 6 and other mating surfaces 12 of the clamp are also partspherical.
