Abstract

1498639 Means for attaching an auxiliary wheel rim to a tractor wheel P K MOL 13 Dec 1975 51142/75 Heading B7C A device for detachably securing a cage wheel or auxiliary wheel rim 2 to a tractor wheel 1 comprises a plurality of arms 5 radiating from a nut 3, each arm consisting of a pair of adjacent elements 8, 9, welded at their radially outer ends to a member 10 which in turn is welded, in use, to the auxiliary rim, a substantially L-shaped lever 6 pivotally mounted between at least one pair of adjacent elements and a screw spindle 7 axial movement of which results in projection 15 engaging with or being removed from corresponding slots on the tractor wheel. Each pair of adjacent elements is welded to a respective wing 4 of the nut.
