Abstract

1341700 Vehicle wheels DUNLOP HOLDINGS Ltd 19 April 1971 [24 March 1970] 14323/70 Heading B7C A solid tyre and wheel assembly comprises a wheel having a rim surface provided with an axially extending radial projecting metal bar 5 detachably secured thereto and a solid tyre (not shown) having a recess therein for engaging the said projection to prevent circumferential movement of the solid tyre relative to the rim. As shown, a flat bar 5 is provided with a pair of threaded studs 6 which project through the valve slot 4 of the rim and receive a washer plate 7 and nuts 8. The bar may be made of metal alloy.
