Roofs; walls.-In buildings having a sloping timber-framed roof and an eaves course 2 moulded in concrete with a gutter and cornice integral therewith and formed with an abutment 6, 7 to take the thrust of the roof so that a separate wall plate is unnecessary, the slope of the rafters 3 and the position of the abutment are such that the centre line of the rafters passes through that portion of the bottom of the eaves course which is in contact with the wall of the building.
