Abstract

1498071 Air heating and ventilation KRYOTHERM AB 6 Feb 1975 [7 Feb 1974] 5010/75 Heading F4V A system for controlling the temperature and ventilation of a building comprises one or more compressors 5 in a compartment 4 which are connected by a line 6 to a condenser 7 at least partially forming the ceiling of the compartment and a refrigerant container 8 for a refrigeration unit (not shown), the floor of the compartment 4 comprises a perforated plate defining a first inlet to the system for air from the building, a second air inlet duct 15 from outside the building opens into the compartment and a condenser fan 9 is mounted above an outlet 10 of the compartment to create a flow of air into the compartment, over the condenser to receive heat therefrom and out of a duct 18 and opening 23 into the building. A further intake for external air opens into the duct 18 which contains a second fan 22, an air filter 20 and a heating element 21. A humidifier may also be provided in the duct 18. An air outlet duct 11 is connected to the outlet 10, and flow of air through the ducts 11, 15, 18 are controlled by damper 12, 16, 19 and 24 respectively.
