149,524. Marshall, E. G. Aug. 13, 1919. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Periscopes. - Mirrors are provided with foldable fittings by which they can be attached to a support and adjusted to any angle, for use as a periscope. The fittings comprise a pair of hinge members C, D mounted in a socket B secured to the back of the framed mirror A, the members C, D being adapted to spring into holes in the support E. In the form shown in Fig. 4, one hole is fixed and the other is formed in a slidable member M. In a modification, one of the holes is formed in a lug secured to a sliding ferrule; or several holes are drilled through the support.
