Abstract

1495206 Conveyer in a processing chamber YAMAKYU CHAIN KK 13 June 1975 [26 Oct 1974] 25431/75 Heading B8A A conveyer in a processing chamber 1 comprises an upward spiral section 2a leading from an input conveyer 7 and connected to downward spiral section 2b from which processed articles pass to a discharge conveyer 8. Each spiral section comprises a vertical series of drive sprockets 21 spaced from a corresponding series of driven sprockets 4. Each of the latter are mounted in a slideway (Fig. 3) against the pressure of springs 53 adjustable by screws 56. Slats 61 are secured to respective chain brackets 64 (Figs. 6 and 7) and carry plastics slide elements 66 and 67 which run on guide rails 62 and 63.
