Abstract

1493809 Mechanical switches TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Inc 4 Dec 1974 [17 Dec 1973] 52466/74 Heading H1N [Also in Division B6] A keyboard assembly comprises an integral member including keys each defined by a U- shaped slot in the member, each key consisting of a raised button 34, a lever portion 42, and an integral hinge portion 40. Each key includes a projection 38 for engagement with a convex metal disc 20 through an insulating layer 24 the disc being deformable to close a conductive path between contact elements 14, 18.
