Abstract
149,345. Philipps Akt-Ges. July 24, 1919, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Scaling fee not paid). Dynamo lamps.-A easing 1 having a removable cover 16 carries a block 3 which supports a reflector-carrier 4 and the bulb 8 the central contact of which bears against the casing 1. A stationary armature 9 is fixed to the casing by screws, and one winding terminal 5 passes through the block 3. A revoluble field magnet 12 surrounds the armature and is carried by a disk 10 fixed to a shaft 13 which bears in blocks 14, 15, the latter of which is fixed by a nut 18 and screwed extension 17 to the cover 16. A flange 19 prevents axial movement of the bearing 15. The magnet 12 is rotated by a cord 24 fastened to a drum 20 to which is fixed one end of a spring 21. The other end of the spring is fixed at 22 to the cover 1G. The drum 20 carries a pin 26 which engages a pawl 27 pivoted at 28 to a disk 29 loose on the shaft 13. The pawl engages a ratchet-wheel 30 fixed to the shaft 13 or to the magnet 12. The operating-mechanism can be removed bodily by removing the cover 16.
