Abstract

1490266 Magnetic switches BESTOBELL MOBREY Ltd 21 Feb 1975 7409/75 Heading H1N In a float operated microswitch assembly wherein a first magnet 12 is connected to and movable by a float 11 and a second magnet 23 is positioned on the other side of a non-magnetic wall 31 from this first magnet and movable by it to operate a microswitch 18 through a lever 28 which bears on the operating button of the microswitch and is actuable by the second magnet, the lever is made of ferromagnetic material so that it is attracted by the second magnet when the need for a lever return spring is obviated. The lever is separated from the second magnet by a push rod 26 which transmits the movement of the magnet to the lever. This push rod may be loosely mounted in a recess in the mounting of the second magnet and adjustable in position by means of a screw 25.
