1486506 Fluorescence analysis COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE 9 May 1975 [10 May 1974] 19543/75 Heading G1A [Also in Division G6] A device for measuring fluorescent deposits includes a photo-multiplier 5, the photo cathode 6 of which is in contact with the inactive face of a photon-transparent alpha-radiation source 4 comprising a glass substrate carrying a thin film of alpha-emissive substance covered by a glass layer, see Division G6, and means to slide in a plate 7 carrying the fluorescent deposit to be measured; photons produced by the action of the alpharadiation on the fluorescent deposit are measured using the photo-multiplier.
