Abstract

1486309 Adjustable clamp F BRAUER Ltd 8 Dec 1975 [6 Dec 1974] 52894/74 Heading E2B A jaw 6 of a clamp is slidably adjustable on bar 1 and is locked in its adjusted position by a lever operated cam 18 which tilts a jamming plate 11 into its gripping position on the bar and then rotates the jaw counter clockwise against spring 17 about the end 14 of the plate to effect grip. Serrations may be provided on the bar to assist location and a rachet mechanism may be provided to operate the cam.
