Abstract
1485512 Flavouring tea SOC DES PRODUITS NESTLE SA 30 Oct 1974 [23 Nov 1973] 46949 [74 Heading A2B The tea aroma of soluble tea solids is strengthened by adding to said solids or to a liquid composition thereof a flavouring agent comprising an alkyl anthranilate, N- methyl anthranilate or N, N-dimethyl anthranilate in an amount of 0.25-200 ppm of said ester based on the soluble tea solid. The flavouring agent may include geranyl acetone, γ-valerolactone, #-decalactone, lactone of gasmine, linalool, linalool oxide or 2-hexanal and may be added as such or as a solution or emulsion of the agent. The components may be separately added.
