Abstract

1484956 Rotary folders ALBERT-FRANKENTHAL AG 13 Aug 1975 [7 Sept 1974] 33671/75 Heading B8R A folding jaw 1, Fig. 1, and counter jaw 3 for folding sheets, are pivotably mounted in common bearing holders 11 rigidly fastened together by a tie-rod 8. This assembly is removably held, e.g. by screws 12, in rings 10 coaxially mounted at the ends of a folding cylinder 15, Fig. 3. An abutment 7 on the counter jaw 3 engages a stop 5 fixed on the cylinder so that upon rotation of the rings, via a shaft 13, relative to the cylinder 15, the counter jaw 3 pivots about its pivot shaft 3<SP>1</SP> and the spacing of the jaws 1, 3 is thereby adjusted. Folding jaw 1 is moved towards and away from jaw 3 in a folding operation by a cam 16 and follower 2 arrangement.
