Abstract

1484316 False-twister: guides for threading yarns CHAVANOZ SA 17 Oct 1974 [19 Oct 1973] 45073/74 Headings DID and D1F A false twister has two parallel frames, one having thereon means for supporting feed and take-up bobbins, the other supporting in succession along a yarn path first delivery rolls, positioned for access by the operator, a first oven, a false twist spindle, second delivery rolls, a second oven, third delivery rolls, and yarn guide means extending continuously from the first delivery rolls to the first oven. In a false-twister, Fig. 1, frame 1 supports feed and take-up bobbins 6, 8 and is connected by bridge 4 to frame 2 supporting feed rolls 11, yarn guide tube 23, oven 12, twisting spindle 13, delivery rolls 14, oven 15 and delivery rolls 16. To feed yarn 7 through oven 12, an operator on platform 3 guides a suction gun on plate 31 to oven outlet 21 so that the yarn is sucked up the tube 23, through tee piece 24, Fig. 2, and through the oven Fluid flowing through optional pipe 17 and chamber 30 blows fumes, and suction heads 18, 19 extract fumes. The tee piece has ceramic guides 28, 29. The outlet of the first oven, and optionally of the second oven, is shaped to fit the suction gun.
