Abstract

1484123 Corner joints for door frames CATNIC SCHANZ Ltd 6 Aug 1974 [6 Aug 1973] 37256/73 Heading F2M [Also in Division E1] A kit of parts for forming a door frame (preferably of steel) comprises two jambs 2, (3) a head rail 4, all of the same cross-section which includes a channel-section door stop, and corner connectors which may be brackets 5 or clips 18 (or 26) welded and screwed to the members. The provision of holes 10, 33 at each end of the jambs and a slot (11) centrally makes them reversible. A temporary spacer bar 16 may be provided. Wall anchors (Figs. 13, 14, not shown) are described.
