Abstract

1481423 Centrifugal pumps DE DANSKE MEJERIERS MASKINFABRIK AmbA 15 July 1974 [31 Aug 1973] 31300/74 Heading F1C In a centrifugal pump for milk, the impeller is formed in three parts 12, 13, 14 releasably clamped together by control clamping means including a nut 19 and bosses 16, 18, whereby the impeller can be readily disassembled for cleaning. The parts comprise a front plate 12 fixedly or releasably attached to the boss 16 by pins 15, a back plate 14 and a part 13 defining the vanes. The part 13 has three projections 21 which co-operate with appertures 22 in plate 14. Alternatively, the plates 12, 14 have projections co-operating with apertures in the part 13. The pump housing comprises two parts 1, 2 clamped together by a ring 3. The impeller may be made of titanium.
