Abstract
1479787 Developing electrographic images XEROX CORP 21 Jan 1975 [28 Jan 1974] 2646/75 Heading G2H To obviate the short-circuiting effect of conductive carrier particles in a developer, e.g. in a magnetic brush developing apparatus, while suppressing the development of image background areas on a latent charge image bearing photoconductive member, the member is subjected to a corona discharge of opposite sign to reverse the charge on the background areas and the developer applicator is connected to a potential, e.g. earth, common to the backing of the photo-conductive member.
