Abstract

1473273 Spacing conveyed goods INTERLAKE Inc 3 March 1975 8755/75 Heading B8A A load L1 adjacent the discharge end of a conveyer pivots an actuating member 22 to a retracted position and causes a stop 82 to be pivotally extended to intercept a following load L2, the actuating member 22 being connected to the stop 82 by a linkage including a rod 40 and two springs 52, 56, the first of which biases the member 22 to an extended position and the second of which biases the stop to an extended position in response to leftward movement of the rod 40 caused by retraction of the actuating member 22. The spring 52 acts between a fixed bracket 44 and a flat 56 on the rod, whilst the second spring 66 acts between the end of the rod 40 and a movable bracket 46 carrying a pin 74 interconnecting toggle links 78, 80. The upper toggle link 78 is connected to the stop 86 which is pivoted to a shaft 88.
