Abstract

1473021 Burner control LGZ LANDIS & GYR ZUG AG 5 May 1975 [9 May 1974] 18789/75 Heading F4T A safety timing circuit for a burner control device comprises a delay means including a resistor 2 and a capacitor 8, a threshold switch 4 connected downstream of the delay means, a first switch 6 in parallel with resistor 2, a second switch 7 in series with capacitor 8, and means 11 for alternatively opening or closing both switches for shortening the delay time of the circuit upon operational testing thereof by means of short testing pulses. A low pass filter 15, Fig. 2 (not shown), may be provided. The input 1 and the output of switch 4 may be connected to an anti-coincidence gate (20), Fig. 3 (not shown), which is in turn connected to a delay network 21 and a flip-flop 23. A short circuit switch (31), Fig. 4 (not shown), may be included in the circuit.
