Abstract

1,267,441. Transistor monostable circuits. HALLIBURTON CO. 29 Jan., 1969 [5 July, 1968; 9 Feb., 1968], No. 4948/69. Heading H3T. [Also in Division G4] Each square wave input pulse from a shaper 18 (Fig. 5) renders resistor Q2 non-conductive and transistor Q3 conductive, a capacitor 64 then charging up until uni-junction transistor Q5 triggers to switch the states of transistors Q2, Q3. The duration of the output pulse from terminal 76 thus depends on the time taken for capacitor 64 to charge, i.e. the voltage at terminal 70 which depends on the output of a linearity compensation circuit 38 in a metering system (see Division G4).
