Abstract

1472575 Gutters HEPWORTH PLASTICS Ltd 27 Jan 1975 [11 June 1974] 25789/74 Heading E1B A fitting for providing a gutter outlet comprises a pipe portion 1 having at one end an outwardly extending flange 2 for mating with the underside of a gutter 3 and having inwardly directed projection or projections 4 together with a spider like clip 5 having a lipped spigot or fingers 8 extending from a flange 7 for mating with the inside of the gutter, the fingers 8 resiliently engaging the projections 4 of the pipe portion. The spider like clip engages the inside of the gutter sealing around a hole 9 cut therein. The clip resiliently engages the pipe portion clamping it to seal around the hole 9. A separate sealing ring may be provided and the pipe portion may be square or round section. All parts are of plastics material.
