1467631 Fusible cut outs; protective arrangements LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 1 March 1974 [4 May 1973] 21445/73 Heading H2G A load is protected against overcurrent by fuse 17 and overvoltage by Zener diode 14, the fuse and diode being combined in a single assembly. Zener diode 14, heavily bonded to leads 15, 16, and the fuse 17 are supported and encapsulated on substrate 10 of electrical and thermal insulating material having respective terminals 13, 11 and 12. The fusible element may be thin wire or a printed conductor.
