Abstract
1,204,505. Fusible cut-outs. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. 24 Jan., 1968 [6 Feb., 1967], No. 5567/67. Heading H2G. A fuse comprises a strip of heat conductive material 12, electrically insulated 13 on one face, with a layer of conductive material 15 on the insulated layer, in the form of a pair of spaced terminal portions 16 and an interconnecting fuse portion 17. The heat conductive material 12 which may be steel, can also be insulated on its other face by spraying. The insulation 13 may be paper. Individual fuses may be cut from laminated strips 11 on which the conductive layer is arranged in various patterns.
