1466327 Heated rollers H-U BREDEMEYER [trading as PAUL TROESTER MASCHINENFABRIK] 26 April 1974 [27 April 1973] 18306/74 Headings F2U and F2Y [Also in Division B5] A calender roll has a cylindrical portion 1 with end covers 4 joined thereto by means of flanged portions 7, and bores 2 extending parallel to the roll axis with radial bores 3 in the end covers 4 connecting therewith. The bores 3 are fed with heating fluid, e.g. steam from a header 10 between a pipe 9 and a hollow shaft 5, and exhausted through a bore 16 in the shaft 5.
