Abstract

1466079 Flashing J E H MUSTOE 23 Oct 1974 [1 July 1974 23 Oct 1973] 49254/73 and 29121/74 Heading E1W An asphalt roof covering is joined and sealed at its edge to an upstanding wall or coping by forming it to fill a preformed undercut channel in turn sealed to the wall or coping. The channel may be part of an edging strip 9 of glassfibre reinforced plastics or cement which is sealed to the wall by means of a flexible flashing band 15. A wedge may be used to jamb the asphalt roofing material into the channel 9c.
