Abstract

Rollers; thread guides.-In spinning- machines wherein a carrier roller g, located between the drawing-rollers and the twisting-mechanism, is rotated in a direction opposite to the movement of the yarn, the roller is longitudinally fluted and Banged, and is arranged in alinement with the nip of the drawing-rollers and the spindles at a considerable distance above the top of the spindle. The roller is driven from the bottom front drawing-roller, and the ordinary threadguides are dispensed with.
