1465023 Externally-meshing gear pumps and motors ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 9 May 1975 [22 May 1974] 19711/75 Heading F1F The outwardly acting resultant hydrodynamic force P 1 , Fig. 4, acting on each bearing of an externally-meshing gear-pump adjacent the bearing face A contacting the respective gear, is balanced by a resultant P 2 acting in the same direction adjacent the other bearing face B, each bearing comprising a bearing member 7 with a bush 9 therein, and the resultant P 2 being created by forming a plurality of apertures 30, 34, 36, Figs. 2 and 3, in bush 9 which open into annular passage 26 and passages 33, 35 respectively, which passages are formed between bush 9 and bearing member 7 and are connected to the high-pressure part 31 by conduits 27, 28 in the bearings.
