Abstract
145,902. Hoock, E. H., and Gregg, W. H. April 9, 1919. Envelopes.-The lower flap 3 of an envelope has an outlined space 8 for receiving the address of the sender and the closing-flap 4 has the part 5 covering the space 8 surrounded by a line of perforations, &c., 6 so as to be readily detachable. The sender's address is thus ordinarilyconcealed, but may be discovered, say by the post marker, on tearing off the part 5. The end flaps 2 of the envelope have their upper parts formed square and the free end of the bottom flap is also square, so that when the envelope is folded these parts will lie in a straight line.
