Mooring. - A mooring-device suitable for hydro-aeroplanes comprises a submerged buoy A anchored by a cable B of such length that the buoy rides at low water as near the surface as is possible without fouling the craft to be moved. The surface body D is made of light material and is moored to the submerged buoy by as short a cable as is consistent with the buoy floating at high water. The post D' may be made of a coil of resilient wire.
