Abstract

The apparatus produces and lays high voltage submarine cables and stores cable in an unfinished state for paying out singly or in parallel. In comparatively shallow waters the cable may be laid normally on the sea bed and as the sea bed depth increases to that beyond the limitations of the cable, buoys held by ground cables maintain the cable at an allowable depth.
