Abstract

1458609 Rotary table tabletting machine KILIAN & CO GmbH 19 Nov 1974 [29 Nov 1973] 50065/74 Heading B5A A rotary table 11 with dies 12 each associated with punches 14, 15 has an integral peripheral wall 25 to collect surplus tabletting material from the dies and a member 27 which sweeps the material from the wall back to a material feed shoe 16. Material is fed to the dies by the shoe and a stripper 20 deflects material into a channel 21 between an edge 22 of the table and a plate 23, such material being returned to the shoe. The pressed tablets are ejected at the position 35 and received by a rotary inclined disc 31 associated with deflectors 39, 40 and conveyed to a container 30. Alternatively the tablets may be sucked from the table and delivered to a container.
