Abstract

1,053,639. Delivering articles from a rotary press. H. KRUSE, [trading as WILHELM FETTE PR€ZISIONSWERKZEUG - FABRIK]. Aug. 6, 1964 [Aug. 6, 1963], No. 32138/64. Heading B5A. Tablets 9, ejected from dies 2 in a rotary table tabletting machine, are removed through a duct 4, the bottom of which is formed by the surface 1 of the rotary table. The duct comprises stationary concentric outer and inner walls 5 and 6 and deflecting plates 7 and 8, plate 7 guiding the tablet into the duct and plate 8 pushing the tablet off the table, on to a take off shoot if required. The inner wall 6 may be dispensed with as the centrifugal force acting on the tablets will force them to move round against the outer wall 5 (see Fig. 2, not shown). Two ducts may be provided for use in a machine in which two pressing operations are performed per cycle. The ducts may be straight or arcuate or other than concentric.
