Abstract

1456842 Cladding UNITY INTERNATIO NAL DEVELOPMENT CO Ltd 19 July 1974 [19 April 1973] 19053/73 Heading E1B A substructure 1 is clad with horizontal rows of panels 2 each having a rabbetted upper edge with the lower edge of each panel overlapping the rabbet of the next lower panel; a waterproof sheet 9 is arranged behind each panel and extends between the overlapping surfaces of adjacent panels; and a layer 10 of resilient material (e.g. polystyrene panels) is interposed between the substructure and the sheet 9. A layer of breather paper 11 is applied to the substructure. Aluminium 12 and plastics 15 extrusions support the lowermost row of panels. The lower edges of the panels are seated on mastic 7, 18.
