Abstract

The inventors have declined to be named. The pattern-spraying printing apparatus has a plurality of ink-spraying nozzles. The ink jets issuing from these nozzles are periodically deflected, according to the pattern program, from the article to be printed, by air jets controlled by electromagnetic valves (92). The valves (92) are mounted in series on a carrier plate (106). A plurality of these carrier plates are arranged in succession. In order to avoid mutual electromagnetic disturbance effects, straight lines connecting analogue points of two directly adjacent valves (92) of two adjacent valve series (112, 114) form a respective angle alpha with the vertical magnetic axes of the valves which is between 35 DEG and 55 DEG . A multiple electrical plug (118), a distributor (142) for the entering air, a multiple connection element (144) for the issuing air, the airlines between the distributor and the valves and between the valves and the multiple connection element (144) and the electrical lines are likewise mounted on the carrier plate (106). <IMAGE>
