Abstract

1453525 Reciprocating conveyers TATRA NARODNI PODNIK 25 March 1974 [26 March 1973] 13187/74 Heading B8A [Also in Division B3] A device for transferring a workpiece 9 from a location 13 to a location 14 comprises an arm 1 pivoted to a frame 10 and carrying jaws 4 and a jaw actuator 3 whose position relative to the arm is controlled by a template 8. The actuator 3 is preferably pneumatic and has rearwardly extending arms 7 with a roller 6. The arm 1 is pivoted by a pneumatic cylinder 2 and during pivoting the actuator jaw assembly pivots relative to the arm. The device may be used to transfer heated workpieces between a furnace and a forging press.
